an unlikely photographer

welcome, i'm margo

Once upon a time, I was stuck in a 9-5 job. I'd stare out the window, longing for the freedom to create beautiful things.

Those great big fluffy clouds. Van Dyke Brown is a very nice brown, it's almost like a chocolate brown. They say everything looks better with odd numbers of things. But sometimes I put even numbers—just to upset the critics. Now, we're going to fluff this cloud.

Don't fight it, use what happens. Don't kill all your dark areas - you need them to show the light. Let's have a happy little tree in here. If you do too much it's going to lose its effectiveness. You have to make these big decisions. Don't forget to tell these special people in your life just how special they are to you.

My Philosophy

what i stand for

You need the dark in order to show the light. Trees live in your fan brush, but you have to scare them out. In nature, dead trees are just as normal as live trees. You've got to learn to fight the temptation to resist these things. Just let them happen. It's all a game of angles.

"Margo captured our day perfectly"

No pressure. Just relax and watch it happen. Let your imagination be your guide. If it's not what you want - stop and change it. Don't just keep going and expect it will get better. Use your imagination, let it go. I really believe that if you practice enough you could paint the 'Mona Lisa' with a two-inch brush.
